Disclaimer
Wickium is a marketplace and community for educational purposes only. Nothing on the site is financial advice.
Read this carefully. Trading is risky. Most retail traders lose money. Anything you read on Wickium — including listings, ratings, reviews, forum posts, and comments — reflects the views of its author and is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. Before risking real money, do your own research and consult a licensed financial professional.
1. Overview
Wickium Media LLC ("Wickium") operates a directory and community at https://wickium.com where users can discover, compare, review, and discuss third-party trading products and services — including indicators, automation strategies, prop firms, platforms, data feeds, copy-trading services, and related tools.
This Disclaimer governs your use of all content on Wickium. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and applies in addition to those Terms.
2. Not Financial Advice
Wickium does not provide investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. Wickium is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, commodity trading adviser, introducing broker, or financial planner. We are not a fiduciary, and we are not licensed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the National Futures Association (NFA), or any state regulator.
Nothing on Wickium constitutes a recommendation, solicitation, offer, or invitation to buy, sell, or hold any security, futures contract, options contract, prop-firm challenge, cryptocurrency, or any other financial instrument. Listings, ratings, reviews, comparisons, and rankings are compilations of public information and user-submitted content provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Information on the site may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Wickium makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or timeliness of any information on the site, and disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on it.
3. Risk of Trading
Trading involves substantial risk of loss, including total loss of principal, and is not suitable for every investor. The risk of loss in trading can be significant. Before deciding to trade any product, you should carefully consider your financial situation, investment objectives, level of experience, and risk tolerance, and you should not invest money you cannot afford to lose.
Markets are volatile. Prices can move rapidly against you. Stop-loss orders may not execute at the price you expect during periods of high volatility, low liquidity, or technical disruption. Internet connectivity issues, platform outages, broker failures, and other technical problems can result in losses. Wickium has no control over and no responsibility for any of these risks.
4. Specific Product Risks
Many of the products listed on Wickium carry additional product-specific risks. The following examples are not exhaustive:
- Futures and options on futures. Highly leveraged. Small market moves can produce large gains or losses relative to deposited margin. You can lose more than your initial deposit.
- Options. Expire worthless if not exercised. Selling (writing) options can result in unlimited losses.
- Prop-firm challenges. Most evaluation challenges are statistically failed by the majority of participants. Challenge fees are typically non-refundable. Funded-account profit splits, scaling rules, and account closures are at the prop firm's discretion under terms that vary widely. Wickium is not a party to and has no control over those terms.
- Indicators and automation. An indicator's signals or an automation's backtest results — even if accurate — do not guarantee future performance. Many strategies that perform well in backtests fail in live markets due to slippage, commissions, regime changes, and curve-fitting.
- Cryptocurrency. Highly volatile, largely unregulated in many jurisdictions, and subject to total loss including from exchange failures, smart-contract bugs, and theft.
- Foreign exchange (forex). Highly leveraged, traded 24 hours, and often with counterparty risk to the broker rather than to a regulated exchange.
- Copy trading and signal services. You are entrusting your capital to another person's trading decisions. Past performance of a signal provider does not guarantee future results. Many signal providers underperform their advertised numbers in live trading.
5. Past Performance
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Hypothetical performance, backtest results, and simulated trading carry inherent limitations and may not reflect the impact of actual market factors such as liquidity, slippage, commissions, fills, and emotional decisions. Performance presented by vendors, prop firms, or other users on Wickium has not been independently audited by Wickium and may be inaccurate, cherry-picked, or misleading.
6. User-Generated Content
Forum posts, replies, ratings, reviews, comments, marketplace listings, and other content posted by users ("User Content") reflect the views of the individual author, not Wickium. Wickium does not endorse, verify, or fact-check User Content. Users may post content that is inaccurate, misleading, biased (including by undisclosed affiliate or business relationships), outdated, or contrary to applicable law.
Do not rely on User Content as a basis for any trading or investment decision. If you believe User Content violates our rules, report it; if you believe it violates law, contact the appropriate authorities.
7. No Endorsement
Inclusion of a product, vendor, prop firm, platform, or other third party on Wickium does not constitute an endorsement by Wickium. Wickium does not vet every listed party and makes no representations about their legitimacy, regulatory status, financial condition, the quality of their products or services, the accuracy of their marketing claims, or their compliance with applicable law.
Before transacting with any party listed on Wickium, you should independently verify their identity, regulatory standing, terms of service, refund and dispute practices, and reviews from sources outside Wickium.
8. Affiliate Disclosure (FTC)
Wickium contains affiliate links. When you click a link or button on Wickium routed through /api/go — including buttons labeled "Get this indicator," "Start Challenge," "View on [vendor]," and similar — you may be redirected to a third-party site through an affiliate URL. If you complete a qualifying purchase, sign-up, deposit, or other action on that third-party site, Wickium may receive a commission, referral fee, or other compensation, at no additional cost to you.
We disclose this in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and the 16 C.F.R. Part 255 Disclosures. Specifically:
- The footer of every page contains a clear and conspicuous affiliate disclosure.
- Buttons that route through affiliate links display an inline "(affiliate)" tag next to the call-to-action.
- Outbound links route through
/api/go, which logs the click for partner attribution and redirects to the affiliate URL.
Affiliate compensation does not determine which products are listed on Wickium, what rating or rank a product receives, what reviews are surfaced, or how staff editorial content is written. Editorial decisions are made independently of business relationships. Wickium does not accept payment for placement, ratings, or reviews.
Some content on Wickium may be authored by users who themselves have affiliate, employment, or sponsorship relationships with vendors. Wickium requires written disclosures from users with financial relationships to products they discuss, but cannot guarantee that every author discloses their relationships. Treat User Content accordingly.
9. Consult a Professional
Always consult a qualified, licensed financial advisor, tax professional, or attorney before making investment, trading, tax, or legal decisions. The information on Wickium is general in nature and is not tailored to your individual financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, or tax position. Your circumstances are unique to you and require professional analysis.
